Just found out that fake versions of "Fallen Down" ("Fallendown after death black sunk night") were removed (youtube, spotify, quobuz).
Note: the YouTube version at least wasn't removed immediately after the initial resolution of copyright claim, not sure if more checking had to be done after or the manual reports did this.
Interestingly, "requiem" didn't get claimed by "Materia Music Publishing", the music publisher that manages Toby Fox's UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE OSTs' music rights.
Learned of them when making a blogpost trying to help someone with a copyright issue.
If they do claim it, it would at least be legitimate.
Maybe the small act of reporting helped bring up the issue, even just 0.001% closer to making the issue of re-uploading pre-existing work fraudulently to exploit a broken automated system (YouTube content ID).
UPDATE: 2022-10-18
To Bing Soy's surprise, the copyright problem was solved in 3 days.
Was at least expecting the full 30 days for a response but this is good surprise.
Shoutout to FUGA for being more timely with resolving YouTube disputes (compared to past experience of max 30 day wait).
Feels a bit strange to be praising basic competency but here we are.
Fortunately, the video made $0.00, meaning no potential money given to fraud if claim were to fail and initial intention of this specific video to not be monetized honored.

On the concerns of swatting, now with some time to think about it, there may be a chance that the music distributor gets to the personal information first, rather that the individual artist/copyright owner themselves but still not completely sure since left to speculate. The fact that it was an automated claim rather than a manual one may make this more likely, so probably safer to dispute when a legitimate company is receiving the info.
Manual or automatic, shouldn't personal information be released to both sides or not at all, at least until follow up disputes? It is really necessary for YouTube to leak your info for a claim in the preliminary stages? This info should be only made available when absolutely necessary.
If ever get manual strikes that are fake/fraudulent, really not sure about disputing them because you know they are fake but don't want to let them profit off you/destroy your channel/destroy you (from the personal details they recieve via your dispute form - not 100% sure if YouTube changed how this works - especially how one-sided it is, can only go off past documentation).
Even if automated, should take extra steps/more time for necessity of personal information because companies can sometimes can get hacked with information leaked or there could be an a malicious spy (like tf2) in the system looking to exploit it for their purposes (such as striking/copyright claiming popular YouTubers' videos to goad them into making a dispute/counter-claim so they can recieve your personal information like residential address, some sort of phishing/trojan horse strategy - it seems so obvious and simple on the surface (blatant fraud automated copyright claim), but it's already too late once you caught on (could actually be a ploy to dox/swat/stalk you with that personal information)).
There are implications of an easily exploitable system. You can't always wait and hope for a broken system to be fixed. What you can do now (and for the rest of your time) is to educate yourself, become smarter everyday, outsmart the scammers, keep good wishes of others in your mind, find a way to minimise time spend dealing with these figurative cockroaches (no offense to cockroaches).
As you can see - even in the initial post - have tried to attack the root cause of problem rather than attack instigator themselves. Don't want them to affect. Don't want to incite/spread hate/anger. Want to resolve problem. Want to right a wrong. Want to dedicate time to work (videos/art) which people may appreciate, not dedicate time for people who are not for self.
It is big strength to use your knowledge for good.
Depending on how hell-bent they are can determine counter-strategy.
Possible strategies:
- Maybe making a short video that shows the fraudulent claim, in an attempt to shine a light on it (rather spend time on making other videos).
- Maybe using Twitter and messaging @TeamYouTube (because that seems to work sometimes).
- Maybe contacting local police force to notify for possible future swatting (probably more recommended the "bigger" you grow in pubic eye).
- Reupload video but change/remove music of affected part, but untick option that notifies subscription feed as to not mislead/get hopes up of viewers who want to watch a new upload. (this seems like a decent idea).
- Leave the video up and have faith in YouTube and music distributor to resolve it (not sure, but now know you at least get any money made from video in the dispute duration, Bing Soy just really didn't want ads on this specific video, didn't want to leave it to bad luck/chance for a fraud to profit from a sincere expression of self - the intro)
A method that doesn't leak personal info for the bad actor to possible exploit to cause bad things.

Really don't want this to happen which has a chance to result in death (death a VERY big inconvenience to making videos, it's a serious issue, trying to delay it as much as possible).
The fake Fallen Down video(Fallendown after death black sunk night), is still up for whatever reason (should be deleted for blantant fraud, with their "FUGA" (music distributor) account removed).
The issue is solved for Bing Soy, but not for others who may have to deal with this, wasting time and possible viewership.
Whoever did this had to:
- go to FUGA's website
- sign up, fill forms
- intentionally yoink Toby Fox's "Fallen Down" and edit it so it's not exactly the same but not edit it too much to ensure it false flags any use of "Fallen Down"
- Distribute their "music" to various platforms like YouTube, spotify, deezer, apple music, amazon, tidal, etc. (when writing this checked spotify, lo and behold (see below), had experience using soundrop to distribute legitmate music - Search "Internet Invasion OST by Bing Soy" and see multiple sites that host the music)
- Make album art (not so sure about the music being manually reviewed, but the album art usually is, and they were less shameless about that and made it different enough to look "legitimate" enough to pass inspection)
- turn on the option to use YouTube's content ID to flag videos containing "Fallendown after death black sunk night" (which effectively flags uses of "Fallen Down")
- sit back and wait, probably more effective for "suckers" (no offense) - people who fall for the trick out of fear then allow their video to be monetized by a fraud

Although didn't really want to waste more time, want to at least make effort to reduce this fraud before not bothering if next time, just to at least know what it feels like to go though and waste time reporting the fraudster across different platforms that has in all likelihood taken much less time than than Bing Soy reporting these:

Conclusion
Though seemingly a small thing, it ruined the past couple of days. Being focused on working on stuff for channel helped distract from this fraud.
Why ruin day when seemingly "successful" on YouTube? Finally getting recognition, albeit at an unexpected rate, a good thing that don't want to mess up, it's not everyday you get a chance to make a living for doing what you want and/or you're good at and on top of that, being somewhat accepted for who you are despite the book cover which isn't expected. Want to do good by viewers (and self, as what you want in life should be important to you), but this must be materialized through action. Still much want to do on YouTube, don't like frauds threatening livelihood/opportunity of video making on YouTube. Not sure what wonders are in store copyright problem wise (see YouTube search "youtube copyright problems" or "youtube copyright censorship" or "youtube copyright troll").
Toby Fox could manually copyright claim the video if he wanted to and that would be fine because it's in his right AND Bing Soy would be ok with it, especially if the video is kept up, with shared revenue and lack of permission asked on Bing Soy's side - it's fair. but that's unlikely, since he didn't select the option to automated content ID claim the use of the music which most commonly features in the game its composed for. Game developers don't usually copyright game OST's as they usually want people to make videos of their game because it helps with exposure, it's a win-win.
Guess Bing Soy will now feel obligated to include a link to the original game (or company site) in the descriptions now (link+credit as substitute for gameplay of original game), as to complete the unspoken transaction that's made between game developer/ost composers and video makers/streamers.
Check more recent videos for example, for older video, later time.
Trying make effort to plug music credit, especially more info/links for the independent/current generation artists because they need more support than a multibillion video game company like nintendo AND the fact Bing Soy doesn't often seek permission for music, usually seeking video game OSTs/very popular artists that don't care about idiot using their music for dumb gaming video or use content ID and let the video stay up in exchange for them making money off video (in a legitimate matter).
Might expand on the thought process of Bing Soy's music selection some other day - may not be most "by-the-book", a bit "cowboy" and definitely doesn't try to claim others' music as own, try to be respectful as possible and accept legitimate consequences, marriage art and video - sometimes good marriage - sometimes unhappy marriage. Will see if ultimately ok in long run.
Unfair thing with YouTube: Used copyrighted music? Then the video is monetized and 100% of that video's profits goes to them. That is unfair. That money would not exist if it weren't for the video. This effectively discourages video-making for those who rely on YouTube ad revenue who like using copyrighted music. Not sure about the percentage, but the original creator of the video should always get the larger cut. Everyone gets paid, remove disincentive to make videos use another's copyrighted music, more profit for everyone, celebrating others' work without crippling each other, more creative freedom (an video can work better with a well-established song), everyone wins.
But it's not that simple is it?
Disclaimer - this context is referring to use of copyrighted music transformatively, like review, gameplay movie, film, cover - adding upon the original work. Not referring to straight up uploads with entirely focus on the music, not transformative enough.
Fair use on YouTube seems to lack some gray areas and specific use of copyrighted material for (transformative) entertainment purposes on top of solely "educational" purposes. There's lots to read, maybe even too much. Red tape, etc.
What is the essence of art? Is it solely for profit? Is it meant to be seen? Can it be shared? How did humans survive this long?
Although draining and really something one may not want to focus on, might have responsibility to cover or at least make blogpost detailing issues experiences come across on YouTube, especially as a more "known" video maker on the platform (commonly known as "content creator"), showing these issues exist and are real.
Initial blogpost below a bit all over the place. Not so sure about rewriting it/removing it. Guess it shows some of the stress and panic that comes with YouTube problems.
All this, to prevent a fraud from making money from a video he didn't want monetized in the first place. Good thing Bing Soy didn't let this stop him from working on channel stuff otherwise the time waste would be much higher. Still, the added stress isn't good.
