Basically, I think I was messing around in tr_walkway (though I could've been in a different map) in thirdperson mode and found when you crouched with demoman while a shield was equipped with your melee out, your left arm does some weird thing where it raises up like a crab claw. I decided to record that.
I think it may have been after I recorded the video that I chose the intro from "This is America" as the footage reminded me of the interesting dance Donald Glover did in the intro of the music video and that that music video was hot at the time. That also inspired the title - Demoman's dance was kind of interpretive like Donald Glover's dance.
